Happy new year!
So ... I finally have a job! hooray! guess where..... yup Target. I am going to be the jewelry specialist. I have to say in this economy it is nearly impossible to find a job. It's tough out there. Though I am not going to be a goldsmith in the back of a small jewelry store, I at least get to do something with jewelery. Think I am just a little over qualified but I have a job! I have applied to many places even though they were not hiring. I was starting to get really down... Just lucked out here. Other good things that have come out of all this is I found a really nice Jeweler. He said he would call me in the future. So I still have hope for a future bench job. He said that if he wanted to he could close his store for 11 months of the year and just keep it open for December and be able to survive. This year, he made an eighth of that he usually makes for that month. sick..... thanks bush.....well I am going to rest now after my eight interviews this week! Hi, Jess! Congrats on finding a job! A client I was speaking with today had half of their staff laid-off today. Hopefully, Obama will work things out!
Oh, and the artist who created the motorcycle lady is Yuko Shimizu. You should check out her site; she does great work!

congrats!!! I knew something would work out! Thats pretty cool that you are the "jewelry specialist" at Target. Hey how much of a discount do you get at there now? oh you know that job I was telling you about...yeah didn't work out. The boss is apperently going thru some hard times too and decided now is not a good time to hire someone. oh well.
